Bluon Energy has taken over the market. They have brought a revolutionary new refrigerant TDX 20 and it has been touted as the most ideal replacement for R-22 Freon. We are currently using the latter but it is not going to be like that for long. Almost 200 countries signed the Montreal Protocol in the year 1987 and that marked the beginning of a new era. The seeds of a revolution were sown long back. Right now what we are seeing are the fruits of the decades-long research and innovation. Bluon Energy left no stone unturned when they formulated their latest creation which is the TDX 20.
The best part about this new formulation is that it eliminates the need for a new HVAC system. We have been witnessing increasing demands for a new and improved refrigerant across the globe over the past few years. As we are nearing the year 2020 which is the deadline for the countries who are parties to the protocol to completely switch from Freon to better alternatives, we are seeing plenty of choices.
But is it safe to say that these alternatives are even half as capable as the previously used R-22 was? Well, they are more than capable to be honest but they still lack the energy efficiency that we seek to make them the ideal replacement for the R20 refrigerant.
Freon Will Be Completely Out Of The Market By January 1, 2020
Yes, this is the date set for its demise and after this, all Freon systems will become obsolete. They will no longer be manufactured or imported and it is going to be a big step forward for us. But for the ones who have already invested hundreds or thousands of dollars in their Freon HVAC-R systems, they need not worry because the new refrigerant is very much compatible with their old systems. So, for the ones who are skeptical about using TDX 20, this should come as fantastic news!
