How the R-22 Phase Out Affects Your Commercial HVAC

With the R-22 phase-out currently in process, many of us are wondering what would happen to our old commercial HVAC systems? Will they become obsolete? Will we have to invest in a new range of commercial HVAC units? Are we looking at a new host of problems while adapting to the new generation of refrigerants once the phase-out is complete? Actually, the answer to all these questions is a simple, NO! No, your current HVAC units will not become obsolete. No, you will not have to invest in a new range of commercial or residential HVAC units and no, there are no new problems in the new generation of refrigerants. The fact is that the new age refrigerants are very much cost effective and energy efficient making them the ideal replacement for the R-22 or the R-20 refrigerant which we so lovingly call Freon. You Won’t Have To Waste Any Money On A New Unit The creators of TDX 20 i.e. Bluon Energy already took into account the fact that the HVAC-R infrastructure is not cheap and it i

TDX 20 – Latest Energy-Efficient HVAC Refrigerant

With the increasing popularity of TDX 20 , it has been assumed that all the regulatory hurdles comes in R-22 like ozone layer depletion, lower efficiency and decreased cooling capacity will be eliminated forever. TDX 20 comes with a large number of benefits as compared to R-22 and all of the other alternative refrigerants. It is one of the well-known refrigerant capable of reducing the energy consumption of HVAC systems. Additionally, TDX 20 maximizes the use of the coil in the HVAC systems and offers more productivity to the HVAC unit by transferring less load on the compressor of the unit. As the workload of the compressor is reduced, the stability of the compressor will also be improved in the process. Finally, it results in less vibration and noise. TDX 20 is the only refrigerant that does not contain any of the pitfalls yet. As compared to all other new refrigerants, it runs more efficiently, and have less impact on the environment.

HVAC R- 22 Refrigerants Phase-Down and New Alternatives

What do you know about the HVAC R- 22 refrigerants phase-down? Why are they the villain all of a sudden? Why has the world gathered against them overnight? Well, this move wasn’t really sudden, to begin with. It was very much planned and is moving on just as intended. Bidding goodbye to R-20 and R-22 refrigerant was imminent and therefore all of us need to be well prepared for their departure. Freon, as these refrigerants are called have has been used for decades and gained popularity primarily due to lack of efficient alternatives at the time. The R-22 refrigerant actually begins its run as the R-20 refrigerant , which is very commonly referred to as chloroform. Despite it being completely organic, it is very much harmful to our environment. It produces a sweet smell and has been used to formulate refrigerants, anesthetics, pesticides, and has been classified by several governments as an extremely dangerous substance. R-22 refrigerant which is currently manufactured with R
